Responsibilities:
-
Service, repair, install commercial sectional, rolling steel, high speed doors anddoor/gate operators
-
Troubleshoot and repair equipment in the field including temporary field repairs for doors hit by vehicles
-
Complete detailed service tickets documenting work performed, material used, start/stop times, further recommended repairs
-
Perform routine preventative maintenance and survey doors and operators for safety compliance and recommended repairs
-
Rotate as the 24hr "On Call" emergency technician for 1 full week turns (Mon-Sun)

Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Preferred Attributes:
-
Previous experience in "COMMERCIAL" overhead door industry
-
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
-
Strong electric operator and low voltage wiring
-
aptitude for service/install/troubleshooting door and gate operators
-
Familiarity with trade specific industrial tools and equipment
-
Ability to handle physical workload associated with position
Necessary Qualifications:

Ability to follow oral and written instructions with attention to detail.

Willingness to learn new and innovative entryway technologies.

Perform detailed daily record keeping and reporting.

Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines.

Work in a team-based environment and achieve common goals.

Clean driving record and valid drivers license is imperative

High School Diploma.

Ability to rotate as on call emergency serviceman with 24hr availability
